About Us

The Panhellenic Council is the umbrella organization for all DePaul sororities that are members of the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC). Under us, there are 8 Panhellenic sororities: Alpha Omicron Pi, Alpha Phi, Alpha Sigma Alpha, Alpha Xi Delta, Chi Omega, Delta Gamma, Delta Zeta, and Phi Mu. For more information on each of these sororities, click the 'Chapters' tab above.

Our Council's executive board for DePaul consists of 8 members, each with unique positions that aim to keep our Panhellenic community running smoothly.

Panhellenic provides a unique balance of leadership, academic, philanthropic, and social opportunities. The Panhellenic Council is the student-run governing body of the sorority community. In joining a sorority, a woman becomes a member not only of her respective sorority, but also of the entire Panhellenic community. The main purpose of the Panhellenic Council is to foster interaction and communication between chapters and to improve the Fraternity and Sorority community.
